Established in 1972, Bentley is a global leader in a range of products that deliver creative and innovative engineered solutions. As part of Severn we have the flexibility to develop our product range, further enabling our engineered solutions to be deployed in the world’s most extreme and severe environments.
Small bore subsea valves and actuators
Innovation is central to the business. With our extensive experience, we have the edge when it comes to designing and developing small bore subsea valves. We also have the unique advantage of being the first manufacturer to produce small bore valves, to the required industry specification. The volume and success of our small bore valves, delivered to projects globally, gives us the confidence of knowing that our products and processes are robust and quality driven. We pioneered metal-to-metal sealing technology that reduces the risk of contamination and failure and we continue to use this technology in our newly developed products. Due to our expertise and innovative approach we have secured frame agreements with major Global subsea XMT and manifold manufacturers.
Bentley’s research and development (R&D) team uses sophisticated design principles to create compact subsea components. The goal is to empower operator engineers at the frontiers of subsea production with solutions that exceed current system demands and deliver innovative subsea technologies.
Our valves undergo rigorous testing, over and above industry requirements. This includes a 600-cycle or 1,200-cycle lifecycle test programme (opening against full rated differential pressure) with low and high pressure gas testing to API 6A 20th Edition before and after cycling. Our valves are compliant with current design and testing principles, including API 17D 2nd edition.
Bentley’s core subsea product range incorporates small bore subsea through conduit gate valves, rotary gate valves and check valves for applications including chemical injection and hydraulic fluid control on subsea XMT’s and manifolds.
Filters & dryers
Bentley’s Filters & Dryers business designs and manufactures medium and high pressure filtration and drying solutions to satisfy bespoke customer requirements.
Special features of the medium and high pressure filters and desiccant dryers include:
• Multi-stage filtration to ensure the highest level of purity
• Small batch manufacture
• Specialist one-off production when required
The in-house production of our medium and high pressure dryers ensures that key components such as couplings, manual valves and pilot valves are engineered to meet our exact requirements. This eradicates the risk of obsolescence, enabling our products to provide long in-life service.
